Experience Required

5+ years of overall IT experience.

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and its AI/ML capabilities.

Experience in data engineering, document intelligence, and AI-powered data processing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake-based data integration pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

Implement AI-powered document extraction solutions for PDFs, scanned images, and semi-structured documents.

Work with Snowflake AI capabilities, including AI_PARSE_DOCUMENT (Layout and OCR modes) and AI_EXTRACT, for intelligent document processing.

Develop and enhance AI-driven workflows for intelligent data capture, classification, extraction, and validation.

Implement Cortex Search and intelligent search capabilities, including semantic search, full-text indexing, and AI-based information retrieval.

Work with Snowflake Intelligence and configure Semantic Views to enable intelligent data access and analytics.

Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) within SQL to build AI-powered data processing and automation solutions.

Integrate and configure HotDocs for document generation and template-driven content automation.

Develop and manage POS (Point of Sale / Policy / Operational Systems) documentation ingestion and lifecycle management.

Collaborate with business, product, and architecture teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Ensure data quality, security, performance, and compliance across integrations and data pipelines.

Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of AI and data pipelines in production environments.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Candidates must have hands-on experience in the following

Snowflake capabilities

AI_PARSE_DOCUMENT

Experience with both Layout Mode and OCR Mode.-Must have

AI_EXTRACT

Hands-on experience with AI_EXTRACT, Snowflake's newer document extraction capability.-Must have

Cortex Search

Experience implementing intelligent and semantic search solutions.-Can be optional, NOT Mandatory

Snowflake Intelligence

Experience working with Snowflake Intelligence and setting up Semantic Views.-Can be optional, NOT Mandatory

LLMs in SQL

Practical experience leveraging Large Language Models within SQL-based workflows.-Must have

CI/CD & DevOps Requirements

Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake solutions.

Strong experience with GitLab and Git-based development workflows.

Understanding of environment promotion, release management, and version control.

Experience supporting deployment and production releases.
