Key Responsibilities

Strong proficiency in embedded WiFi firmware development

WiFi driver and wpa_supplicant/hostap integration, and TCP/IP networking (lwIP/Zephyr net stack, TLS, MQTT) on resource-constrained devices.

In-depth knowledge of WiFi security and association mechanics

WPA2/WPA3-Personal (SAE), transition mode, PMF (802.11w), 4-way handshake, and scan/connect/reconnect behavior; hands-on WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise (802.1X/EAP-TLS) experience strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience debugging AP vendor interoperability issues (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Ruckus) using wireless packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark or specialized sniffer equipment).
• Familiarity with enterprise/managed network environments (VLANs, RADIUS, captive portals, client isolation); healthcare IT environments a plus.
• Understanding of BLE/WiFi 2.4 GHz coexistence mechanisms and RF fundamentals.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with assembly language.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) programming and debug; Zephyr experience preferred.
• Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Strong logical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; comfortable interfacing with field teams and customer IT staff.
• Experience in NXP RW61x, Silicon Labs, or similar connectivity microcontrollers is preferred
