Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and compatibility testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
• Test mobile applications across multiple devices, operating system versions, screen sizes, and device configurations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain mobile test automation frameworks using Appium, Maestro, and AI-assisted automation tools.
• Design and prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
• Perform cloud-based mobile application testing using platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, and Firebase Test Lab.
• Implement AI-driven visual regression testing to identify UI inconsistencies, layout issues, and cross-device compatibility defects.
• Validate mobile application functionality, UI elements, navigation, push notifications, permissions, and device-specific features.
• Perform API testing and backend validation to ensure seamless end-to-end application functionality.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools such as Jira.
• Execute test cases on real devices, emulators, and simulators to ensure application quality and stability.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement automated testing strategies for Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), Native Android, Native iOS, and React Native applications.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, test reviews, and release validation activities.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in mobile application testing across Android and/or iOS platforms.
• Strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies, test design techniques, test execution, and defect lifecycle management.
• Practical experience with Maestro for mobile UI automation.
• Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile test automation.
• Programming knowledge in Java or other suitable programming languages used for test automation.
• Understanding of Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks will be an added advantage.
• Experience working with Android Studio, Xcode, emulators, and simulators.
• Knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks such as Postman and REST Assured.

AI Testing Skills – Good to Have

• Experience with AI-powered testing platforms such as Applitools, mabl, or similar tools.
• Understanding of AI-driven test prioritization, self-healing automation, and intelligent test failure analysis.
• Familiarity with LLM-assisted test case generation and the ability to validate AI-generated test scenarios for accuracy and reliability.
• Knowledge of agent-based automation workflows and automated test execution orchestration.
