Context

Organizations must protect their infrastructure and web applications against cyberattacks, control access to sensitive resources and ensure the availability of their exposed services.

F5 technologies provide several complementary mechanisms to address these challenges, including firewall, load balancing, web application protection, access policy management and configuration automation.

Within this context, the internship aims to design and deploy a demo architecture integrating several F5 security capabilities. The project will be carried out in an isolated laboratory environment, allowing controlled and reproducible testing.

Topic

Your mission will consist of learning, evaluating, and implementing a client architecture that secures web applications end to end, from incoming requests to application access, while maintaining service availability and simplifying configuration management.

You will design and document enterprise use cases covering service availability and load balancing capabilities, web application protection, access control, all included in a secure infrastructure.

You will then deploy a fully functional infrastructure within NTT's internal laboratory environment, and the resulting platform will become a testing and demo center that can be used by our teams to showcase the capabilities and benefits of modern security solutions.

• Documentation of deployment procedures, architecture diagrams, and operational guides

You will be part of the “Cybersecurity Practice” global team, composed of experienced network & security engineers either deploying technical solution and services on customer premises (Technical Services team), or managing client infrastructures hosted on shared platforms (Managed Services team).

During the internship, you will receive the support of a dedicated engineer as well as the team leader to guide you while defining the approach and milestones. You will also have the opportunity to participate in all the team meetings and activities, which will enable you to be immersed in the professional world and to be faced with day-to-day challenges encountered in the work environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

• BTS or similar
• Familiar with traditional networking standards and concepts
• Strong interest in global technology, security, encryption and virtualization in particular
• Having knowledge of scripting language (e.g. bash, python, terraform…) would be considered as an asset
• Fluency in spoken and written in English is mandatory, and additional languages will be an asset
• Demonstrating problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Be capable of working both independently and as part of a fast-moving team
• Having a relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs, or first work experience) would be considered as an asset
