2. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled API Developer to design, develop, integrate, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong backend programming skills, experience with API development and integration, database connectivity, authentication mechanisms, and API documentation.

The candidate will collaborate with frontend developers, backend engineers, QA teams, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable API solutions for enterprise applications.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build API endpoints using HTTP methods such as GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE.
• Develop API integrations with internal applications and third-party platforms.
• Implement request validation, response handling, and exception management.
• Integrate APIs with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API keys.
• Develop reusable API components and service integrations.
• Implement API versioning, pagination, filtering, and sorting.
• Optimize API performance, scalability, and response times.
• Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger and OpenAPI.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
