2. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled REST API Developer to design, develop, integrate, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong backend programming experience, knowledge of API architecture, database integration, authentication mechanisms, and API testing.

The candidate will work closely with frontend developers, backend engineers, QA teams, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable API-driven applications.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build API endpoints using HTTP methods such as GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE.
• Implement API request validation, response handling, and error management.
• Develop secure APIs using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, and role-based access control.
• Integrate APIs with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement pagination, filtering, sorting, and API versioning.
• Optimize API performance, scalability, and response times.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and API automation tests.
• Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger and OpenAPI.
• Troubleshoot API failures, investigate logs, and resolve production issues.
