Why we are looking for support

You are the Architect our Consumer Goods clients trust with their end-to-end

Salesforce landscape

from Sales, Service, Marketing to Consumer Goods Cloud and the integration layer between them. You shape the target architecture, make the design calls on complex multi-cloud programmes, and stay hands-on enough to be credible with developers and executives alike. You work closely with our delivery teams, and you help set the architecture standards lead, the architecture, design, and technical delivery of our clients.

Your tasks

  • You own the end-to-end target architecture across Salesforce Sales, Service, Marketing, B2B Commerce and Consumer Goods Cloud, make and document the key design decisions
  • You design the integration architecture between Salesforce, ERP, DMS, POS/retail data, trade promotion and finance systems
  • You serve as the ultimate technical design authority, from discovery to go-live
  • You act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives (CIOs, CTOs, CMOs) and contribute to proposals, estimates and technical due diligence in pre-sales.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of project experience within the Salesforce eco-system as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect and/or Enterprise Architect on multi-cloud programmes, including integration with third-party systems such as SAP
  • Proven experience designing IT landscapes where Salesforce seamlessly coexists with tier-1 enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday)
  • Hands-on integration architecture: REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven patterns, OAuth 2.0 / SAML, and middleware such as MuleSoft or comparable
  • Experience designing data models, sharing and security, and large-data-volume strategies for global, multi-country rollouts
  • Lead architectural modernization efforts, bridging legacy enterprise systems with modern cloud-native infrastructure and AI services
  • Strong command of platform limits, declarative vs. programmatic trade-offs, DevOps and CI/CD, release management and environment strategy
  • Working knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or Zachman) and of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) as they interact with Salesforce
  • Consulting background with direct client contact; ability to whiteboard an enterprise solution and explain it clearly to both developers and executives
  • Salesforce Application Architect and System Architect (or at least three certifications on the Architect path); Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or an active CTA journey is a strong plus
  • Communicative and credible with clients, with the willingness to make and defend design decisions; experience in remote and international teams; willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken; further languages are a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Consumer Goods industry knowledge (field sales and retail execution, trade promotion management, key account and distributor processes) and Consumer Goods Cloud hands-on: Retail Execution, visit planning, order capture, Trade Promotion Management (TPM)
  • Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce / Einstein exposure, and how they combine with Sales, Service and Marketing
  • Experience at or with large consultancies (e.g. Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, EY, KPMG, Capgemini)
  • Other industry cloud experience; CPQ, DocuSign or ERP connector experience
  • Experience with Salesforce AppExchange products and unlocked/managed packaging strategies.
