Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Work with client SMEs and architects during discovery, design, UAT and go-live.
• Should be able to assess existing warehouse/ETL landscapes and define modernization strategies.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling including (but not limited to) designing designing Bronze/Silver/Gold architectures and domain-oriented data models
• Design end-to-end Databrick pipelines for ingesting data from varied sources, applying data quality rules and transformations
• Ability to understand existing SQL & Stored procedures, and re-engineer into Databricks-native pipelines.
• Define reconciliation, governance, security and downstream integration patterns.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews and support proposal/solutioning activities.

Primary Skills

Strong hands-on Databricks experience Strong PySpark, Spark SQL, Python and SQL skills

Experience with Medallion architecture, Lakeflow Pipelines/Jobs, Auto Loader, ingestion patterns and Data Quality / Business Rules frameworks

Strong knowledge of Unity Catalog, Data Modelling & Data governance Data warehouse migration and modernization experience.

Good to Have skills

Redshift and Talend experience Databricks Apps and GenAI capabilities
