Lead Artificial Intelligence Analyst

Position Overview

The Lead Artificial Intelligence Analyst will spearhead our internal AI initiatives, driving the development and implementation of AI solutions across the organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in AI technologies and the ability to collaborate with internal business leaders to identify and capitalize on AI opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in AI, data analytics, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy and Leadership

o Develop and execute the organization's AI strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.

o Lead a team of AI professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

o Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and trends to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.

Technical Development

o Design, build, and deploy advanced AI models and solutions, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.

o Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from data collection and preprocessing to model training and deployment.

o Ensure best practices in AI development, including model accuracy, scalability, and performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

o Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and identify opportunities where AI can add value.

o Translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

o Foster collaboration between technical teams and business units to ensure successful implementation of AI solutions.

Data Analysis and Management

o Manage and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and inform AI model development.

o Implement and maintain data quality and governance standards to support robust AI solutions.

Project Management

o Lead AI projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

o Develop project plans, manage resources, and track progress to meet deadlines and performance metrics.

Documentation and Reporting

o Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.

o Document AI methodologies, processes, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and future projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in AI, machine learning, data analysis, or a related area, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to manage AI projects and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in data management and statistical analysis.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data visualization tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in information systems, computer science or a related field.
• Experience in the retail or consumer package goods industry.
• Certifications in AI, machine learning, or project management (e.g., PMP, Certified Analytics Professional).
