Load Balancing Engineer

Pay Range

$55/hr - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement F5 and Broadcom AVI load balancing solutions for critical applications across on-prem and hybrid environments.
• Support and troubleshoot hybrid load balancing infrastructures and cloud-based services (ALBs, GSLBs).
• Collaborate with network operations and engineering teams to ensure optimal application traffic management.
• Advise business partners on best practices and methodologies for load balancing technologies.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate evening and weekend support as necessary.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• 4-6 years engineering experience installing, configuring, and supporting load balancing technologies, preferably F5 and/or Broadcom AVI.
• Experience with hybrid load balancing infrastructure (on-prem, multi-CSP) and cloud-based load balancing services (ALBs, GSLBs).
• AWS and/or Azure cloud network engineering experience is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Traffic Management platforms.
• Automation experience (e.g., Ansible, Python) is a plus but not required.
• Strong network engineering and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with application traffic analysis and routed/routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, VPNs) is a plus.
• Knowledge of enterprise security policies and best practices.
• Agile methodologies and framework experience.
• Network certifications are a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong customer engagement skills.
