- Work with architects, product owners and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical designs and estimates.
- Mentor and grow a team of senior and mid-level developers through reviews, pairing and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Assess new Salesforce releases and features and recommend how to adopt them.
- Reduce technical debt, and lead org health reviews, refactoring and platform optimization.
- Analyze business and technical requirements, providing actionable feedback on specifications, design, and integration flows.
- Actively engage in Agile ceremonies and support cross-functional collaboration to drive efficient project delivery.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Expert knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL and asynchronous Apex.
- Experience with Flow automation at scale, including knowing when to use Flow and when to use Apex.
- Deep experience with the Salesforce data model, the sharing and security model.
- Proven integration experience: REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, OAuth, Platform Events, Streaming API and Bulk API.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Track record of delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce programs in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Soft Skills & Collaboration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage cross-functional stakeholders and end users.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A mentoring mindset, with a commitment to growing developers and building a strong engineering culture.
- Ownership and accountability for delivery quality, production stability and stakeholder commitments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s, degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12–16 years of software development experience, with at least 8+ years building on the Salesforce platform.
- Experience with Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, and/or CPQ Clouds.
- Demonstrated ability to stay current with Salesforce platform updates and innovations.
