About the role

We're looking for a senior strategist to lead website, mobile app and sales enablement strategy for a national, multi-location consumer services brand. You'll run discovery and research, define the experience vision, and build a unified web and app roadmap that ties every recommendation to conversion, retention and revenue. You'll present directly to senior client stakeholders and hand off a roadmap our design and development teams can build from.

This is a hands-on, senior role. You'll own the thinking and the deliverables, working alongside our paid media, analytics, UX and engineering teams.

What you’ll do

  • Lead an audit of the website and mobile app, including the reservation funnel, location finder, pricing pages and in-app customer flows.
  • Plan and conduct stakeholder interviews and customer research with current, prospective and former customers.
  • Analyze research, analytics and paid media performance data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Facilitate workshops with marketing, business and commercial stakeholders to shape the experience strategy and align priorities.
  • Partner with design and development teams to translate recommendations into actionable requirements.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and guide the transition from strategy to execution.

What success looks like

By the end of the engagement, you will have completed and handed off:

  • An evidence-based opportunity assessment identifying key customer needs, experience gaps and the highest-impact opportunities across web and app.
  • A web and app experience strategy defining each channel’s role across the customer lifecycle, with recommended information architecture and navigation.
  • A prioritized, phased roadmap linking recommended enhancements to expected business impact, with clear sequencing and dependencies.
  • A B2B and commercial sales journey and enablement framework defining the content, tools and playbooks needed to support the sales process.
  • An execution-ready requirements package with clear acceptance criteria for the agreed priority enhancements, reviewed with leadership and handed off to design and development.
  • 10+ years in experience strategy, product strategy, service design or customer experience
  • At least 4 years leading strategy engagements end to end
  • A track record of web and/or mobile app roadmaps that went into build
  • Strong qualitative research skills, including interviews, journey mapping and service blueprinting
  • Comfort reading funnel and analytics data and using it to shape recommendations
  • Confident, polished presence with senior client stakeholders
  • Agency or consultancy experience, working across strategy, design and development teams

Nice to have

  • Experience with multi-location or hybrid physical/digital businesses (real estate, hospitality, retail, venues, financial services)
  • Transactional, booking or reservation-driven commerce experience
  • Understanding of performance marketing and how landing pages and app events feed media reporting
  • B2B sales enablement or commercial customer journey work
  • Familiarity with AEO/GEO and structured data in site strategy

Work Authorization

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout their employment. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
