Overview

The Product Manager (Digital Sales) is responsible for digital products and customer journeys that directly support SiGMA’s commercial and revenue objectives.

The initial product scope includes Tickets Page, Direct Booth Sales, and Exhibitors Zone, with responsibility for their continuous development, optimisation, and performance.

These are complex, interconnected products with dependencies across Product, Development, UX/UI, Sales, Marketing, EMS, payments, and other internal systems. The role requires dedicated end-to-end product ownership, with a strong focus on simplifying customer journeys, increasing conversion, enabling self-service, and supporting revenue growth.

The Product Manager will work closely with commercial stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable digital product solutions, while maintaining ownership of product priorities, requirements, user experience, and delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap and ongoing development of SiGMA’s digital sales products, initially including Tickets Page, Direct Booth Sales, and Exhibitors Zone.
  • Understand commercial objectives, customer needs, operational requirements, and existing pain points, and translate them into clear product initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital sales journeys, increase conversion, reduce friction, and enable greater customer self-service.
  • Define product requirements, user journeys, acceptance criteria, business rules, and success criteria.
  • Prioritise initiatives based on commercial value, customer impact, urgency, dependencies, effort, and company priorities.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, UX/UI, Development, EMS, and other relevant stakeholders throughout discovery and delivery.
  • Manage dependencies between customer-facing sales products and supporting platforms, systems, payment flows, and internal processes.
  • Coordinate discovery, UX/UI design, development readiness, testing, validation, release preparation, and post-release follow-up.
  • Ensure that solutions are scalable and reusable rather than solving individual commercial requests through one-off implementations.
  • Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for continuous optimisation based on data, stakeholder feedback, customer behaviour, and commercial results.
  • Maintain clear product documentation, roadmap visibility, priorities, requirements, decisions, risks, and dependencies.
  • Proactively identify blockers and risks, escalate where necessary, and ensure appropriate stakeholders remain aligned.
  • Support the evolution of SiGMA’s digital sales ecosystem and identify opportunities to move appropriate commercial processes from manual operations towards scalable digital solutions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a comparable digital product role.
  • Strong understanding of digital customer journeys, e-commerce, digital sales, marketplaces, booking platforms, or other transaction-driven products.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to connect product decisions to revenue, conversion, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong ability to translate business and commercial requirements into clear product requirements and scalable solutions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Development, UX/UI, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Strong understanding of product discovery, prioritisation, requirements definition, delivery, testing, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage complex products with multiple systems, stakeholders, and dependencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to challenge requests constructively and distinguish between immediate stakeholder requests and underlying product needs.
  • Strong ownership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with Jira and Agile delivery environments, including Scrum and/or Kanban.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain clear priorities, and escalate risks early.
