Software Engineer, C++ Systems

About the Role

Join a systems engineering team building software for GPU virtualization and cloud infrastructure. You will develop low-level C++ technology that improves GPU utilization and supports demanding AI and machine learning workloads.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain a core C++ GPU virtualization library.
• Research techniques such as GPU oversubscription and checkpointing, and apply them to high-performance systems.
• Support new GPU architectures by understanding how changes affect the broader system.
• Debug system-level issues in production environments.
• Trace performance problems across the stack and diagnose issues in customer workloads.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in C++ systems engineering, with deep C++ expertise; Rust experience is also relevant.
• Production experience with low-level systems, such as operating systems, kernels, memory management, drivers, or networking.
• A track record of optimizing performance, including NIC or C++ workloads, and tracing issues across system layers.
• Experience shipping production software beyond academic research and delivering effectively in an early-stage environment.
• Knowledge of compilers, networking protocols, kernels, Kubernetes, infrastructure, or distributed systems is valuable.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and a relevant degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $250,000 to $325,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
