- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using IBM ITX Design Studio, Command, Launcher services and Design Server.
- Participate in discussions with stakeholders to understand user requirements and conduct comprehensive requirements analysis.
- Design, develop, and implement business logic by adhering to secure coding practices and organizational security standards.
- Assist in solution design, development, and configuration while carrying out static analysis tasks to evaluate design quality.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability by following organizational best practices.
- Assist with the development of test plans and test cases, identifying stakeholders for testing and analysing execution results.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code while supporting ongoing script enhancements and maintenance activities.
- Obtain and consolidate regular feedback from users to support continuous improvement efforts, such as EDI/API integrations.
- Prepare technical documentation, including interface descriptions and functional/non-functional details.
- Document processes and test results surrounding software architecture, application design, and component integration.
- Support in training team members on the use of applications and new enhancement features.
- Generate reports for stakeholders and participate in internal or external compliance audits as required.
- Configure and support integrations on Linux environments, including log analysis.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in IBM ITX/WTX including Design Studio, Command Server, Launcher Services, and Design Server.
- Strong experience with EDI standards including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV, and SOAP/XML.
- Linux administration, troubleshooting, and log analysis experience.
- Version control experience using Git.
- CI/CD exposure using Jenkins.
- Experience supporting B2Bi integrations and trading partner onboarding.
Preferred Skills
- Axway B2Bi and API Gateway.
- Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or transportation domain experience.
General Experience
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in EDI integration development using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX).
- Proven experience in onboarding, implementation, support, and enhancement of B2Bi integrations.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, external partners, and cross-functional technology teams.
- Logistics, transportation, or supply chain domain experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
