Did you apply?

Business Analyst at SQLI. We’ll keep it in your applied jobs, so you can see it later and be warned before applying to the same employer twice.

This role is suited for an experienced Business Analyst with 5-7 years of experience who wants to deepen their expertise in digital commerce while helping clients turn business needs into effective digital solutions.

As our Business Analyst you will be in the lead from a functionale perspective in projects covering e-commerce solution design and delivery across a range of clients and sectors. The discovery and BA methodology you'll be working within is something we're actively building out, with AI-assisted tooling at its core, so there's genuine scope to help shape how it works.

The work covers pre-sales, discovery, requirements definition, and delivery support. You'll be on real client briefs where your BA input directly shapes what gets built.

What You’ll Do

Drive client discovery and workshops

Lead running discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops. Help gather and document requirements and build toward leading these independently over time.

Define and structure scope

Break down briefs into clear deliverables, helping to shape project scope, timelines, and work breakdown structures alongside the architect(s) and project manager.

Take the functional lead of projects

Produce user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and feature value matrices that both technical and non-technical audiences can work from. Act as a trusted team member, sharing knowledge, supporting more junior colleagues when needed, and contributing to a collaborative way of working.

Support pre-sales and estimation

Lead and contribute to RFP responses and statements of work.

Work within the SQLI discovery framework

Use and contribute to SQLI's evolving discovery methodology, including AI-assisted tooling built to improve the speed and quality of discovery outputs.

Stay current on commerce and technology

Follow developments in eCommerce, personalisation, and AI, and bring that thinking into client conversations and internal practice development.

Connect teams

Help keep client stakeholders and technical delivery teams on the same page, supporting alignment across commercial, strategic, and delivery goals.

Core eCommerce experience in at least one platform is essential:

  • SAP Commerce / Hybris (particularly valued)
  • Adobe Commerce / Magento
  • CommerceTools
  • Emporix
  • Shopify
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud

Experience of other related platforms would also be beneficial; for example:

  • Adobe Experience Cloud
  • Bloomreach, Klaviyo (or similar CXP products)
  • FluentCommerce, OneStock (or similar OMS products)
  • Contentful, Acquia (or similar CMS products)
  • Akeneo (or other similar PIM products)
  • Algolia, Athos Commerce/Klevu (or other similar product discovery products)

Language proficiency

Fluency in English is essential, along with full proficiency in either Dutch or French (and preferably both).

What's in it for you?

At SQLI we’re happy to support you in any way we can. While you’ll mostly be working at the offices of our clients, you can find free coffee, fresh fruit and an open and pleasant atmosphere at our office in Diegem. Our company has a very flat hierarchy, so you’ll be surrounded by a team of experts to support you and help each other.

We will provide you with a clear career development plan (shape your own career) and support your personal growth (technical and personal) with trainings and educational sessions.

In return for your services, we offer you a competitive salary package including a company car, fuel card, health & group insurance, laptop, net allowances, daily meal allowances, mobile phone subscription and the possibility to be present at different team activities, drink and events.
