IT Technician II

As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in our organization's daily operations. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and enhancing our IT systems and equipment, ensuring they are reliable and efficient. You will work closely with end-users to understand their needs and provide timely support. • Install, repair, and maintain IT equipment and systems, including computers, networks, and telecommunication devices.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Set up and configure electronic computer equipment for end-users, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Modify and test systems to meet changing business requirements and ensure compatibility.
• Resolve minor network issues and provide timely support to end-users.
• Assist with data recovery and ensure data integrity and security.
• Install voice and data cable infrastructure as needed, following industry best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to enhance our systems.
• Collaborate with the HR team to understand business needs and provide effective IT solutions.
• Document all IT-related activities and maintain accurate records for future reference.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common office applications.
• Familiarity with network administration and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic understanding of telecommunication systems and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Effective communication skills to interact with end-users and provide clear instructions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
