Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 12+ years of IT experience, with 10+ years in webMethods architecture and development.
• Strong knowledge of webMethods Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, Broker, and MWS.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, including pipelines, runners, GitLab YAML, merge requests, and environments.
• Experience automating webMethods deployments using Deployer, Asset Build Environment, and scripts.
• Scripting experience in Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of API design, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Architect and design enterprise integration solutions using webMethods Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, Designer, MWS, and Trading Networks.
• Define integration patterns for REST/SOAP, event-driven integration, B2B/EDI, file transfers, and batch processing.
• Design and implement GitLab CI/CD pipelines for webMethods packages and APIs.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, and promotion across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Establish branching strategies, code review practices, and release governance.
• Manage API lifecycle, security, OAuth, JWT, SSL, and policy enforcement.
• Lead migration and upgrade initiatives, including on-premises to cloud or container-based environments.
• Review architecture designs and code.
• Mentor developers and DevOps engineers.
• Troubleshoot performance, stability, and production issues.
• Document architecture, technical standards, and operational runbooks.
