Technical Analyst

Our client is building a new governed Clinical Data Layer (CDL) to modernize the clinical data ecosystem.

A technical implementation partner will deliver the platform; this contingent will act as a technical counterpart, ensuring architectural quality, governance, compliance, scalability, and alignment with our standards.

The role is closer to a Technical Lead / Data Platform Architect than to a traditional Technical Analyst position.

? Typical Day

• Review technical designs and architecture proposals
• Challenge solution designs from implementation partners
• Align solutions with UCB architecture standards
• Collaborate with:
• Enterprise Architects
• Solution Architects
• Security Architects
• Cloud Leads
• Data Governance teams
• Manage technical risks and dependencies
• Provide technical leadership during delivery
• Oversee:
• Azure environments
• Databricks platform
• Unity Catalog
• CI/CD processes
• Release Management
• Metadata Management
• Data Lineage
• Data Contracts
• Coordinate technical discussions with vendors and stakeholders

Requirements

Years of Experience

• Ideally 8+ years of relevant experience
• The manager is open to candidates with fewer years if they demonstrate strong expertise in similar clinical or data platform implementations

A contingent who has already implemented or architected a Clinical Data Platform / Clinical Data Layer within a pharmaceutical company.
