Job Description

We are seeking object-oriented application development professionals for multi-tier application development and support.

The selected individual will have an opportunity to

Deliver services in response to high-profile corporate objectives

Develop Java applications and services built on JBoss and Linux utilizing XML based technologies, relational databases, open source frameworks, and service based methodologies

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with a major in computer information systems or engineering

Object-oriented development education

Experience with Java SE

Excellent communication skills

Additional consideration will be given to those candidates with:

Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new/evolving technologies

Successful experiences in external customer-facing application development

Experience in multiple areas

J2EE technologies, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, HTML, SOA, Web Services, Relational Databases, Siebel v7 or v8, IOS SDK, Android SDK (not all technical skills sets are required for consideration)

Property/casualty insurance experience

Strong customer service orientation

Long-term management potential
