The Senior Cloud Engineer position is a technical role in the organization that is responsible for deliveringengineering services. The Sr. Cloud Engineer provide consulting and delivery services for Allegis Group and itsOperating Companies focusing on the Microsoft Azure cloud which includes but not limited to deployment,configuration governance, security compliance, cost optimization and engineering support. As a Sr Cloud Engineer,the expectation is to have the experience and background to provide direct hands-on engineering support forAllegis Groups global infrastructure environments in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role is also responsiblefor creating and implementing cloud-based solutions such as IaaS, SaaS, PaaS based on business needs andcustomer requirements. This specific role is within Corporate Enterprise Operations in support of Allegis Group andit's operating companies. The ideal candidate should have experience in medium to large data centerenvironments, Microsoft Azure, and be proficient at extracting customer requirements and working with end users/ customers.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Be responsible for creating and implementing cloud-based solutions such as IaaS, SaaS and PaaS based on business needsand customer requirements.
• Extract customer requirements and work with end users / customers.
• Partner with various departments in the organization such as application development, enterprise operations, security,and risk management to provide solutions to meet the needs of the customer.
• Create and implement disaster recovery solutions and assist with continuous improvement activities.
• Be responsible for creating system monitoring and backup solutions and assisting customer with technical issues.
• Assess, design, and implement Enterprise cloud infrastructure and applications monitoring solutions which notifyrespective support teams if any anomalies are found with their applications/environments.
• Configure and maintain user friendly interfaces for them to log errors in human readable formats which helps themtroubleshoot issues related to their environment and deliver/configure performance dashboards/reports.
• Telecommuting Permitted.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• US CitizenEducationBachelor's DegreeBachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering(any), Information Technology or related quantitative discipline and five (5)years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in thefield of software development, program analytics or related occupationAny suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.Skills and Abilities

• Experience in working in medium to large data center environment
• Windows Server
• Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2019 and Server 2022
• Windows 10 and Windows 11 (VDIs)
• Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment, effectively and efficiently
• Virtualization technology
• Networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls)
• VMware Technologies/Hyper-V
• Microsoft Azure Certifications AZ-900 and AZ-104 Recommended

• US Salary range: $100,600-$151,000 Potential bonus up to: $15,000

Compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to, education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
