About the Role

What You'll Do

  • Orchestrate AI agents to coordinate patient recruitment across multiple clinical trials.
  • Review production conversations, identify failure scenarios, build evaluations, and use results to improve the agent harness.
  • Integrate health profile data sources to support timely outreach and patient qualification.
  • Scale consistent, personalized language model experiences across voice, SMS, and email.
  • Apply current agent research and tooling to the product's core software systems.

What We're Looking For

  • 0 to 4 years of software engineering, agent engineering, or applied AI experience.
  • Experience focused on building production AI agents or large-scale AI applications, including conversational agents and agent harnesses beyond prototypes.
  • Experience developing evaluation and tracing infrastructure for AI agents.
  • Applied LLM experience and a strong full-stack engineering foundation; familiarity with tools such as LangGraph, Vercel AI SDK, voice AI, SMS APIs, multi-agent orchestration, and CTMS or CRM integrations is relevant.
  • An undergraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent strong technical foundations.
  • Healthtech or life sciences experience, or a strong interest in the field, is beneficial.
  • Strong ownership, persistence, and ability to work through ambiguous technical problems.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and able to work on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area.
