Founding Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

Join an early-stage cybersecurity team building technology to secure and govern enterprise AI. You will combine hands-on software development with close customer partnership, helping enterprise security and IT teams deploy the product while turning their needs into improvements.

What You'll Do

• Run customer deployments and pilots, debug integrations in customer environments, and lead technical sessions with security and IT teams.
• Build product features and integrations end to end using Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Take ownership of varied engineering challenges across a fast-growing, early-stage product.
• Translate customer feedback into product improvements and deliver them quickly.
• Adapt to the team's highest-priority needs as they evolve.

What We're Looking For

• Two to five years of experience as a software engineer or forward deployed engineer, with a record of shipping production software.
• Experience working directly with customers in an engineering or technical role, such as forward deployed, solutions, sales, or founding engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or TypeScript, plus experience with system architecture, databases, and scaling.
• Background at a high-bar startup or technology company, with experience beyond large technology companies alone.
• Exposure to cybersecurity, identity, or enterprise IT is valuable.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is required.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary

$187,000 to $225,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
