Position Overview

• We are seeking a cybersecurity professional with hands-on experience administering enterprise Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• This role supports a security logging and monitoring initiative focused on platform integration, administration, optimization, and reporting. The successful candidate will work with technologies such as Splunk Enterprise, Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps, and Cribl, providing Level 3 and Level 4 technical support and contributing to platform upgrades and improvements.
• You will join a collaborative team of approximately 15 professionals, with onboarding and knowledge transfer provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate system and application data sources into enterprise SIEM platforms to support security event logging and monitoring.
• Administer and maintain SIEM platforms, including system and application upgrades, health checks, dashboards, and reports.
• Provide Level 3 and Level 4 technical support and manage support cases through resolution.
• Support platform lifecycle upgrades and optimization initiatives to meet security logging and monitoring requirements.
• Collaborate with data onboarding teams and internal stakeholders to support data ingestion, security use cases, dashboard development, and reporting.
• Help maintain and improve SIEM platform design, architecture, and technical capabilities in alignment with industry best practices.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps in partnership with Security Engineering and Cyber Threat Management teams.
• Research logging techniques to identify, retrieve, and monitor security events generated by emerging technologies.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and communicate progress against delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Post-secondary education is required.
• 2+ years of cybersecurity analyst or engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with SIEM tools.
• A foundational certification in Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel is required.
• Administrative knowledge of enterprise SIEM platforms and experience supporting security logging and monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong information gathering, reporting, and documentation skills.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with internal technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Google SecOps or Cribl.
• Banking or financial services experience.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports in Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk.
