Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Windows Engineer to manage and support enterprise Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, patching, virtualization, security, and high-availability environments. The role requires strong troubleshooting and PowerShell automation skills, with experience in VMware/Hyper-V and enterprise infrastructure operations.
• Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and support Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 environments.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, OU, users, groups, and computer accounts.
- Perform server builds, upgrades, migrations, hardening, and decommissioning.
- Manage Windows patching using tools such as WSUS, MECM/SCCM, or equivalent platforms.
- Troubleshoot OS, application, authentication, networking, performance, and system-level issues.
- Manage Microsoft Failover Clustering, Windows Server roles, and high-availability environments.
- Support VMware / Hyper-V virtualized Windows workloads.
- Perform system performance analysis and capacity optimization.
- Implement and maintain Windows security baselines and hardening standards.
- Troubleshoot authentication issues involving Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, certificates, and domain connectivity.
- Manage Windows services, scheduled tasks, event logs, registry settings, and system configurations.
- Support backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
- Automate repetitive administration tasks using PowerShell.
- Monitor infrastructure using enterprise monitoring and logging platforms.
- Participate in incident, problem, change, and request management processes.
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, and infrastructure reports.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call / shift support, where required.
