Scrum Master

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery, drive team effectiveness, and ensure successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coaching teams on Agile principles, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement while collaborating with Product Owners, stakeholders, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Facilitation

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Ensure Agile and Scrum principles are understood and followed by the team.
• Guide teams in Agile best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster self-organizing, cross-functional, and high-performing teams.

Delivery Management

• Monitor sprint progress and ensure timely delivery of commitments.
• Track team velocity, burndown charts, and other Agile metrics.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support release planning and roadmap execution.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Provide regular project status updates and reports to leadership.
• Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.

Team Coaching & Mentoring

• Coach team members on Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Encourage accountability, collaboration, and transparency.
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles affecting team productivity.
• Drive Agile maturity and organizational transformation initiatives.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyze team performance and implement process improvements.
• Promote Lean and Agile best practices across the organization.
• Support Agile adoption initiatives and training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 2+ years of Scrum Master experience.
• Proven experience leading Agile teams in software development environments.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
