Must Haves
- 3+ years of direct management experience. This is a firm HR requirement, so a technical lead without the required management experience would not qualify.
- Strong, relatively recent hands-on PL/SQL experience, ideally intermediate-to-senior level.
- Must still be comfortable coding and willing to remain 30–40% hands-on. Someone who has been completely removed from development for several years may struggle.
- Solid understanding of system integrations and integration patterns/APIs. Specific integration technologies are less important than understanding how data moves among interconnected systems.
Nice to Haves
- Oracle APEX experience, but this is not required. - a strong PL/SQL developer with UI experience can learn APEX.
- Blue Yonder experience, but this is explicitly not required.
- Experience with another supply chain planning platform such as Kinaxis or o9 would be valuable because the candidate would already understand planning concepts and data models.
- Supply chain experience is helpful but can be taught.
- Experience with QAD, AOM, Oracle R12 or Oracle Fusion is helpful context but not required.
- Global team-management experience is not required.
