Lead/Principal Middleware Engineer

This is hybrid role, 20% at client location and 80% remote.

We are seeking a Lead/Principal Middleware Engineer with deep expertise in Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI), Cloud Data Integration (CDI), and Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). This is a high-impact onshore role requiring someone who can independently own and drive both Application Development (AD) and Application Management (AM) workloads in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

*Key Responsibilities*

*Application Development (AD)

*

@ Architect and develop enterprise-grade integration solutions using Informatica CAI, CDI, and IDMC.

@ Design scalable data pipelines, API-led integrations, and event-driven workflows

Lead end-to-end solution design from requirements through deployment.

@ Establish coding standards, best practices, and reusable design patterns for the team.

*Application Management (AM)

@ Own L2/L3 support for production middleware environments with SLA accountability.

@Monitor, triage, and resolve integration failures, data pipeline issues, and performance bottlenecks.

@ Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-mortem reviews.

@ Manage change requests, release coordination, and environment health.

*Leadership & Collaboration

@ Act as the technical lead and go-to SME for all Informatica middleware decisions.

@ Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; conduct code reviews

Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders across teams.

@ Contribute to roadmap planning and capacity discussions

@ 10+ years of hands-on middleware and integration engineering experience.

@ Expert-level proficiency in Informatica CAI, CDI, and IDMC.

@ Strong experience managing both AD and AM workloads simultaneously in enterprise settings.

@ Proficient in Shell Scripting for automation, job scheduling, and operational tasks

Proficient in Python for data processing, scripting, and integration utilities.

@ Experience working in onshore delivery models with cross-functional teams.

@ Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, ETL/ELT patterns, and cloud data platforms.

@ Familiarity with cloud platforms.
