Programmer Analyst 6 - Senior IBM Master Data Management (MDM) & Integration Developer

Seeking for a Programmer Analyst to support and enhance Master Person Index (MPI), Index Data Stewardship Portal, and Symmetry applications. Be a part of streamlining critical business processes, ensuring data integrity, and securing applications. Lead and collaborate on projects to enhance, integrate, and maintain our systems.

Responsibilities

• Write high-level functional requirement documents.
• Work in Linux Operating Systems and develop scripts in PowerShell.
• Utilize Git and GitHub for repositories.
• Collaborate with Database Administrators to develop and execute SQL scripts.
• Create monthly reports for MDM applications.
• Create and deploy certificates on Windows and Linux systems.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure teams for maintenance and issue resolution.
• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Develop prototypes and mockups for user review and approval.
• Design, develop, and implement test plans and reports.
• Assist with UAT Testing, Test cases, and Post Implementation testing.
• Provide defect and incident tracking information.
• Maintain/update system documentation as a result of system upgrades.
• Monitor applications in both production and non-production environments.

Required Skills

• 8 years of software development experience supporting enterprise-scale systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare Experience.

Other Desired Skills

• Strong understanding of MDM concepts and IBM MDM product capabilities.
• 8 years of Java / J2EE experience, including Java, JSP, and REST/SOAP-based services.
• 5 years of experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and integration with WildFly-based applications.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Strong Linux/Unix shell scripting skills (Bash).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud and OCP containerized environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Exposure to OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Experience with ELK / Elastic Stack for log monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to independently own, maintain, and support complex systems.
