Role Summary

Seeking an experienced API Verification Engineer to independently develop and execute test strategies for complex software applications and integrations.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

• Experience in Software Testing, QA, System Integration & Test, or Software Verification.
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Bruno, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP methods/status codes, JSON request/response validation, authentication, authorization, permissions, and error handling.
• Ability to create test plans and test cases from user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical designs.
• Experience with Functional, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, Negative, and End-to-End testing.
• Ability to create/manage test data and validate complex system workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, APIs, cloud services, databases, and integrations.
• Experience documenting defects, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with developers.
• Ability to assess testing results, technical risks, and software release readiness.
• Strong communication, ownership, and independent working skills within Agile cross-functional teams.
