Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant professional experience may be considered.

Professional Experience

• Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, or a related information security discipline.
• Experience designing, integrating, implementing, and managing complex cybersecurity infrastructure and security solutions.
• Experience conducting security architecture reviews, threat modelling, risk assessments, and security gap analyses.
• Experience developing and implementing security standards, frameworks, and controls within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience working within the electrical utility, energy, or critical infrastructure sector is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity requirements and regulatory compliance obligations applicable to electrical utilities.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture principles, enterprise security frameworks, and security-by-design practices.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and implement security standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27019, as applicable to the electrical utility sector.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks applicable to critical infrastructure, including NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture principles, technology roadmaps, reference
