Job Description

We are seeking a Java Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable enterprise applications within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern software engineering practices. This role involves collaborating with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java development and enterprise application engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
• Knowledge of relational databases and data access frameworks.
• Experience with automated unit, integration, and functional testing.
• Familiarity with messaging systems, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with Git or equivalent source control tools, build automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native development practices.
• Exposure to frontend technologies such as Angular, React, TypeScript, or JavaScript is a plus.
• Understanding of application security, secure coding practices, performance optimization, and production support.
• Experience working in Agile environments, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and collaborative solution design.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
