Service Technician

Pittsburgh, PA (Home Office) | Extensive Travel Required (Up to 75%)

What You'll Do

🟣 Install, commission, and start up ceramic manufacturing equipment at customer facilities

🟣 Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on ceramic production machinery

🟣 Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime

🟣 Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety practices

🟣 Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns, documenting all service activities and equipment performance

Must-Have Qualifications

✅ 3–5 years of industrial maintenance or field service experience, preferably in ceramic, manufacturing, or process industries

✅ Working knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, motors, sensors, and industrial controls

✅ Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals

✅ Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical/Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics preferred

✅ Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively (up to 75%); ability to obtain a passport for international travel starting at the end of 2027
