About the Role

We are seeking a Senior .NET & Azure AI Engineer to support the design and development of modern, cloud-based solutions within a commercial insurance environment. This role requires deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, strong .NET development skills, and practical exposure to Azure AI services.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in commercial insurance, modern API-driven architecture, and cloud-native development. This is a hands-on engineering role within an agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# .NET and modern API architectures.
• Build and integrate solutions leveraging Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI and Azure Foundry.
• Develop and support cloud-native applications using Azure services such as Container Apps, App Services, API Management, and Logic Apps.
• Implement secure cloud solutions utilizing Azure Key Vault, App Gateway, and SQL Managed Instance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver high-quality software aligned with business objectives.
• Contribute to infrastructure design and deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Bicep, ARM, Terraform).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release activities within an enterprise delivery framework.
• Support ongoing enhancements and modernization of commercial insurance systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience working in commercial insurance environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Azure Foundry)
• Advanced proficiency in C# .NET, API design, and development
• Solid experience with Azure Cloud services, including Container Apps, API Management, App Gateway, Key Vault, App Services, Logic Apps, and SQL MI
• Experience using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform
• Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in agile delivery environments; SAFe experience preferred
• Exposure to Angular front-end development
• Strong SQL development and data modeling skills
• Property & Casualty insurance domain experience
