• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Solid understanding of SQL concepts and GlideRecord queries
• Experience with RESTful APIs (consumption & creation)
• End‐to‐end development of custom scoped applications
• Server‐side scripting: Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs
• Client‐side scripting: UI Policies, UI Actions, Catalog Client Scripts
• Workflow studio & Flow Logic (building flows, sub‐flows, custom actions)
• Integration – creating custom spokes and using built‐in connectors
• Service Portal development (AngularJS/Angular, widget server/client scripts)
• Experience working with UI builder.
• Knowledge of the ServiceNow Next Experience IU framework and component libraries.
• CMDB modeling, Discovery configuration, and health monitoring
• ACL design, role hierarchy, and data policy implementation
• Application lifecycle management (update sets, application repository, versioning, conflict resolution)
• Automated Test Framework (ATF) creation and execution
• Familiarity with Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management processes
• Ability to profile and optimize scripts, queries, and database indexes
• Experience troubleshooting instance health dashboards and logs
• Strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate technical concepts for non‐technical audiences.
• Ability to communicate ServiceNow best practices and implement solutions according to best practices.
• Proven teamwork in Agile/Scrum environments (story estimation, sprint planning)
