We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Administrator to support and enhance a large-scale PI Data Historian environment serving critical Electric, Gas, and Steam Control Center operations. This role combines PI System architecture, administration, integration, development, high availability, disaster recovery, and 24x7 operational support.

Senior AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Administrator Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain an enterprise AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System supporting 1.5M+ PI tags.
• Design and support HA/DR solutions for PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), and PI Vision.
• Configure PI AF templates, elements, analytics, notifications, and event frames.
• Support PI interfaces and integrations including OPC DA/UA, PI API, RDBMS, PI-to-PI, DNP3, and PI Integrator for Business Analytics.
• Develop PI Vision/ProcessBook dashboards, Power BI reports, and custom applications using PI SDK, AF SDK, PI OLEDB, APIs, PowerShell, and related technologies.
• Ensure continuous availability of PI Historian infrastructure supporting Control Center operations, including monitoring, alert response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and system enhancements.
• Support integrations between AVEVA PI, SCADA, OMS, and enterprise business systems.
• Maintain technical procedures, architecture documentation, and disaster recovery documentation.
• Participate in scheduled 24x7x365 production support and incident response.
• Manage technical project activities, communicate status and risks, and collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, and technical teams.

Senior AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Administrator Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience administering enterprise AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System environments.
• Strong expertise with PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Vision, PI Analytics, Event Frames, Notifications, HA, and disaster recovery.
• Experience supporting highly available operational technology or Control Center environments.
• Programming and development experience with C#, .NET, Visual Studio, SQL, SSIS, PowerShell, APIs/adapters, and Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across complex infrastructure and application environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Ability to independently lead projects, develop end-to-end technical documentation, and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong written, verbal, stakeholder communication, and presentation skills.

Senior AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Administrator Preferred Qualifications

• AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System Infrastructure and/or Developer Accreditation.
• Experience supporting Electric, Gas, Steam, SCADA, OMS, or utility Control Center systems.
• Strong awareness of operational, physical, and cybersecurity requirements within critical infrastructure environments.

The Senior AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Administrator will play a key role in maintaining the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical PI Historian systems while supporting modernization and analytics initiatives.
