Data Scientist (22-00001) -

Our client Provides unprecedented business insights from unstructured data. Our client's products are deployed in over seventy of the world's largest financial institutions, allowing them to make faster and more effective decisions so they outperform the competition. This is a work from home role, the client Prefers east coast.

Responsibilities

• Shape and debug new NLP and Client algorithms
• Set up strong foundational procedures for statistical data analytics and processing.
• Extracting insights from messy, usually un-labeled, data across multiple languages

Requirements

• Graduate degree or equivalent in Statistics, Computer Science, or STEM degrees
• Good statistical analysis and problem-solving skills
• Track record of providing valuable insights from large, multidimensional datasets
• Good working knowledge of Data Science technology stacks including R, Python, Spark
• Comfort with software development standard practices, including version control, unit testing, and code review
• Strong ability to communicate and visualize findings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large scale cloud-based data processing, such as AWS
• Over 3 years professional experience coding in Python or related
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent experience
• Interest in financial modeling of companies
• Up to date understanding of the state-of-the-art in NLP and Client methods
