AI Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions with a strong focus on Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building machine learning models, working with LLM-based systems, and deploying AI applications in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and maintain machine learning models for Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision use cases
• Design and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines using Azure AI Search or similar technologies for efficient data retrieval and indexing
• Build and implement agentic AI workflows, enabling autonomous agents to perform multi-step reasoning and tool-based actions
• Research and prototype emerging AI concepts such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) to improve system interoperability
• Perform performance tuning, A/B testing, and monitoring of AI/ML systems in production environments
• Deploy and manage AI solutions using containerized environments (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into web and mobile applications
• Write clean, scalable Python code for model development, automation, and prototyping
• Document technical designs, contribute to code reviews, and follow AI/ML best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, or AI-based application development
• Strong programming skills in Python (model development, scripting, automation)
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLMs and RAG pipelines
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for deploying AI workloads
• Understanding of AI system performance optimization and monitoring
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
• Strong problem-solving ability and experience working in Agile environments
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Azure AI Search and Copilot Studio
• Exposure to agentic AI systems or autonomous agents
• Knowledge of vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, etc.) or knowledge graphs
• Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
