Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced eRisk DevOps Support Engineer to support FX and Fixed Income operations across the APAC region. The role involves providing production and application support for critical trading and risk management platforms used across front, middle, and back-office functions.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with DevOps/support activities, and exposure to financial markets environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support FX and Fixed Income business applications within the APAC region.
• Monitor and maintain trading and risk management systems to ensure high availability and operational stability.
• Handle market data, client distribution, onboarding, trading, and position management support activities.
• Provide production support across front-office, middle-office, and back-office platforms.
• Investigate and resolve application, system, and user-related issues in a timely manner.
• Perform system monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate application deployments, upgrades, and release activities.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure smooth operational support.
• Participate in shift support coverage when required.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Production Support / Application Support / DevOps Support roles.
• Hands-on programming experience in either:
• Python, or
• Java
• Experience supporting financial markets applications, preferably within FX or Fixed Income environments.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments and system monitoring.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced banking or financial services environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with KDB database is an added advantage.
• Exposure to trading systems and market data platforms.
• Knowledge of ITIL support processes and incident management.

Shift Requirements

• Candidate should be flexible to support:
• Sunday night shift: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Weekday morning shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
