UI Tool Developer

We’re looking for a talented

UI Tool Developer to join our growing team

A. Responsibilities (essential to the position)

• Research, plan and develop new tools/plug-ins and extensions to support the UI/UX team.
• Refine the existing toolchains/pipelines and workflows to improve efficiency. This includes brainstorming solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Generate test cases of the new tools/plug-ins and extensions as well as document them.

B. Requirements

Industry background

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Extensive experience in system architecture combining multiple technologies and disciplines, including hardware and software
• Strong understanding in software development and program management with a track record of success working in cross functional development teams
• Strong record of innovation demonstrated through patents, papers or products
• Proven ability to articulate and advocate a vision for technology direction with customers and internal development teams

Knowledge and skills

Experience developing product in UNIX environment

• Solid understanding in of C# or Unity Script
• Experience with version control tools such as Perforce
• Familiar with agile methodology

Desired experience

Embedded systems and/or Automotive, Experience in writing Photoshop Plug-ins, Experience in Web development, Experience in creating GUI applications for macOS or Windows

Education / Training

• Bachelor in Automotive/Embedded Software/Mechanical Engineering/Systems Engineering/Computer Science
• Strong presentation skills and excellent interpersonal skills; fun, outgoing and easy to work with
• Self-starter able to operate with minimal supervision to achieve objectives
