IT Program Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Technology Program / Delivery Lead - Hybrid for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ or Pennington, NJ.

The Senior Technology Program / Delivery Lead is responsible for helping to lead complex, enterprise-scale technology transformation and risk-remediation programs across vulnerability management, including cloud migration, container modernization, application modernization and technology lifecycle management. This role combines strong program and project management disciplines with sufficient technical depth to work directly with application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, cloud and platform engineering teams. The position serves as the connective layer between the lead program manager, senior technology leadership and engineering execution, ensuring immediate remediation requirements are addressed while simultaneously advancing applications toward sustainable strategic platforms.

Responsibilities

• Translate technology risks and architectural requirements into executable roadmaps
• Establish governance and delivery discipline, remove cross-functional barriers, and drive programs from strategy through implementation and measurable risk reduction
• Analyze vulnerability, technology and delivery data to identify trends, systemic constraints and areas requiring management intervention
• Drive execution and accountability across teams without direct reporting-line authority
• Provide strong executive communication, translating complex technical topics into clear risks, business impacts, recommendations and decisions
• Establish governance, KPIs/KRIs and executive-level reporting for large technology programs

Requirements

• Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite
• Extensive technology program/project management experience leading complex, enterprise-scale initiatives across multiple applications and technology teams
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, including security remediation, technology currency, End-of-Life/End-of-Support risk and open-source/FOSS vulnerabilities
• Ability to understand application architecture, infrastructure and technical dependencies and translate them into executable delivery plans
• Experience coordinating across application development, cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture, cloud/platform engineering and risk organizations
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage integrated roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and remediation commitments
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation, application security and security scanning, FOSS / open-source dependency management, End-of-Life and technology currency management, cloud architecture and migration, and container platforms and containerization

Desired skills

• Knowledge of application-security scanning and vulnerability identification within the development lifecycle
• Experience developing current-state-to-target-state technology roadmaps and managing multi-year modernization programs
• Experience identifying opportunities to industrialize or automate vulnerability remediation
• Experience operating in a large, highly regulated financial-services or similarly controlled enterprise environment
• Experience balancing cybersecurity remediation, regulatory/risk commitments and strategic technology modernization against ongoing business-delivery priorities
• Experience with enterprise program and project management, integrated roadmap development, portfolio management, and senior stakeholder management

Pay range

$57.70 - $65.70 per hour
