Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing the data maturity of our Digital function. Working at the intersection of analytics, customer behaviour and commercial decision-making, you’ll develop innovative data science solutions that help shape customer experiences, optimise performance and drive measurable business value. From predictive modelling and behavioural segmentation through to AI and machine learning solutions, you’ll own the end-to-end delivery of impactful data science initiatives across Greene King.

As a Data Scientist, you will…

• Own and deliver the Digital data science roadmap, ensuring solutions create demonstrable commercial value across the business.
• Design, develop and deploy advanced data science solutions including predictive models, customer segmentations and AI/ML decision engines.
• Partner with Product, CRM and Digital teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data-led solutions.
• Lead the monitoring, optimisation and enhancement of data science models and environments to ensure ongoing effectiveness and accuracy.
• Transform complex analytical findings into compelling, easy-to-understand insights that drive business adoption and informed decision-making.

What you'll bring…

• Significant experience in data science, with strong expertise in predictive modelling, machine learning and statistical analysis.
• Advanced technical skills in Python, SQL and data science platforms, alongside experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI or Looker.
• Experience using experimentation methodologies including A/B testing, control groups and significance testing.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to identify trends, extract value from data and influence business decisions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
