Sr. Java Developer

Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Sr. Java Developer for their Atlanta, GA/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities

• Design end to end Java fullstack solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and deliver robust performant and secure applications for critical business processes
• Develop backend services using modern Java frameworks and patterns that ensure efficient data processing stable integrations and maintainable code structures for long term sustainability
• Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces using contemporary frontend technologies that provide intuitive experiences and increase customer satisfaction across digital channels
• Review application design and code produced by project teams to uphold high-quality standards and reduce production defects while promoting best practices in full stack development
• Collaborate with product owners’ business stakeholders and architects to translate complex requirements into technical designs that balance feasibility scalability and long-term maintainability
• Optimize application performance by analyzing bottlenecks, refining queries and improving frontend and backend interactions to provide faster and more reliable user experiences
• Coordinate with quality assurance and operations teams to enable smooth testing deployment and monitoring processes ensuring stable releases and quick recovery from incidents
• Mentor junior developers and peers in Java full stack concepts coding standards and troubleshooting approaches to build strong engineering capability within the project team
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new frameworks, tools and practices that can enhance productivity, reduce risk and strengthen solution resilience
• Ensure adherence to security privacy and compliance requirements in all application components by applying secure coding guidelines and supporting necessary audits and reviews
• Prepare clear technical documentation including design specifications, integration details and configuration notes to support knowledge sharing and efficient onboarding of team members
• Engage in hybrid work collaboration using digital tools and onsite interactions to maintain strong communication alignment and transparency across distributed teams
• Advance the company mission by building reliable digital solutions that improve customer trust support sustainable business growth and positively influence the wider society through dependable technology
