I’m looking for someone that has at least 2-3 years of Openstack under their belt.

Role Description

Lead architect on a complex, large-scale Openstack cloud implementation responsible for defining, planning, and documenting the architecture and solutions for new cloud products

Requirements (*Must Have)

• Experience supporting a large scale, elastic, highly available cloud environment*
• Deep understanding of the OpenStack project ecosystem and hands-on Openstack development / coding experience*
• Experience with Heat orchestration engine and delivering IaaS and PaaS offerings within Openstack*
• Good experience with Neutron and solid networking fundamentals (e.g. SDN)*
• Knowledge of multiple hypervisor technologies (e.g. KVM, VMware ESXi)*
• Ability to bring others together across various organizations and come to agreements on proposed solutions*
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work independently with minimal supervision in an agile environment*
• Experience designing and using web services APIs (RESTful, SOAP)
• Proficiency with development and scripting and development (Java, C++, bash, perl, python, git)
• Experience with monitoring and usage collection tools such as Nagios and Ceilometer
• Experience with some Continuous Integration system (eg. Jenkins)
• Configuration management tools (e.g. chef, puppet)
