Job Title

AWS Network Infrastructure Assessment & Migration Architect (GenAI Enabled) Experience: 10+ Years Location: Remote / Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Network Infrastructure Assessment & Migration Architect to lead network discovery, assessment, optimization, and migration planning initiatives for enterprise cloud transformation programs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in networking, hybrid cloud connectivity, AWS networking services, and cloud migration strategy, while leveraging AWS Generative AI tools such as Kiro and other AWS AI services to perform intelligent analysis, pattern detection, capacity planning, and recommendation generation.

This role will work closely with customer stakeholders, infrastructure teams, cloud architects, and migration teams to assess existing network environments, identify dependencies, evaluate connectivity options, and develop migration-ready network architectures aligned with AWS best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Network Discovery & Assessment

• Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders to assess current network infrastructure architecture, operational requirements, and future capacity needs.
• Review and analyze existing network topology, WAN/LAN architecture, routing, switching, firewall configurations, bandwidth utilization, and performance metrics across enterprise datacenters.
• Conduct detailed analysis of current and projected network bandwidth requirements for cloud migration workloads and ongoing operations.
• Map existing network connectivity and dependencies to AWS Landing Zone (LZ) networking architectures.
• Identify network interdependencies, application communication paths, security zones, and connectivity requirements impacting migration activities.
• Evaluate hybrid connectivity options between on-premises environments and AWS Regions.

Cloud Networking & Migration Planning

Assess AWS network connectivity solutions, including

o AWS Direct Connect

o Site-to-Site VPN

o Transit Gateway

o VPC Peering

o AWS Cloud WAN

o Route 53

o PrivateLink

o Hybrid DNS architectures

Analyze network performance characteristics including

o Latency

o Throughput

o Availability

o Reliability

o Scalability

• Define migration network requirements and target-state connectivity architectures.
• Identify network bottlenecks, risks, and optimization opportunities that may impact migration performance.
