Job Description

We are seeking experienced Software Engineers with strong development skills in Java and/or Python, hands-on Kubernetes experience, and expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). The ideal candidates will have a strong background in software development, cloud-native technologies, container orchestration, automation, and production system reliability.

Candidates with previous experience working at Apple or supporting Apple projects are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications using Java and/or Python.
• Develop automation tools, scripts, and services to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Design and implement SRE practices to improve system availability, scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Monitor production systems, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain automation for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Establish and maintain Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets.
• Work with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve application performance and production stability.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to enable reliable software releases.
• Identify recurring operational issues and develop permanent solutions to reduce manual intervention.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
