We are seeking a Data BI Analyst to support enterprise-wide decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence solutions. This role will analyze large datasets, develop dashboards and reports, and translate complex data into actionable insights that support business partners across Finance, Operations, Engineering, HR, and Leadership.

The Data BI Analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and data engineering teams to understand reporting needs, improve data quality, and deliver scalable BI solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large enterprise datasets using SQL to identify trends, patterns, discrepancies, and actionable business insights.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and other enterprise BI platforms.
• Translate business needs into KPIs, metrics, analytical models, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to ensure data availability, accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Design and maintain analytical and semantic data models to support reporting and self-service analytics.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies, reporting issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Support data governance, documentation, security, and compliance standards.
• Optimize reporting processes, data models, and BI solutions to improve efficiency and usability.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Analytics roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
• Experience working with large, structured datasets.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake, or OneLake).
• Knowledge of data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale data environments.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, data cataloging, and lineage practices.
• Experience with Oracle Analytics Server or Oracle Analytics Services.
• Microsoft certifications such as Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Fundamentals, or Azure Data Engineer.
