About the role

We are hiring for a large financial services client. You will coordinate response to AI related events, such as unapproved AI tools, data shared with AI services, or AI agents connected without approval.

What you will do

• Lead investigations into AI related events
• Coordinate with AI security, architecture, and governance teams
• Track corrective actions to closure
• Work down the backlog of open AI related risks

What you bring

• 8+ years in incident response coordination
• Recent hands on exposure to AI and GenAI risk, such as shadow AI, data leakage to LLM services, and unsanctioned agents, connectors, or MCP
• Experience leading investigations and working with AI security, architecture, and governance teams
• Experience tracking corrective actions to closure and managing a backlog

Nice to have

• AI governance frameworks, such as NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and OWASP LLM Top 10
• DLP or CASB tooling
• Admin knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Copilot, or ChatGPT Enterprise

Preferred certifications

GCIH, CISSP, CISM. AI specific certifications such as AIGP or GIAC GenAI are a plus.

Technology and frameworks

NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, DLP and CASB tooling, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT Enterprise administration.

Background we look for

AI specific incident work is new for everyone, so we look for strong senior incident response experience plus recent, demonstrable AI security work. A large regulated enterprise background is preferred.
