Enterprise Integration Architect (26-00739) -

Position Overview

The Enterprise Integration Architect will own the enterprise integration platform and define how applications, data, and platforms connect across a multi-cloud environment spanning Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and on-premises systems. Working within the Enterprise Architecture team and reporting through the Director of Enterprise Architecture, this role will establish integration direction, standards, and roadmaps across business and technology domains. The preferred work location is the Houston area; remote candidates who can work Central Time will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise integration target state, standards, and roadmap.
• Establish guidance for application programming interface (API), event-driven, and batch integration patterns across cloud and on-premises systems.
• Review project and solution designs for alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Partner with architects across Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI), SAP, Electric, Gas, Customer Experience, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity to address cross-domain integration needs.
• Account for integration points with operational technology systems supporting Electric and Gas environments that are separated from the primary corporate network.
• Contribute to enterprise initiatives, including data governance, Internet of Things (IoT) grid mapping, and AI.
• Document architecture decisions and communicate direction clearly to technical and business leaders.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level enterprise architecture experience with a strong focus on integration.
• Working knowledge of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
• Experience with integration platforms and API management in a multi-cloud environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and teams without direct authority.
• Clear, confident communication with technical and executive leadership.
• Ability to work Central Time business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in utilities or another asset-heavy, regulated industry is strongly preferred.
