Software Developer - Expert

Provide a short description of the Position

The position will support the development of a cloud analytics environment within Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES). The environment will bring together multiple large DOH sources that must be joined and made available to meet Department use cases, including support of the AHEAD model. The Software Developer will support data ingestion, cleaning and analysis of information.

Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: Day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to: 1.Work with DOH teams to modernize data cleaning and transformation processes using version control and collaborative repositories. 2.Build, test and maintain data ingestion pipelines in the Cloud 3.Work with technical manager to ensure the team implements the correct software solution and the solution will meet the needs of the program. 4.Collaborate with your team to design technical solutions. 5.Present or demo your work to a non-technical audience, 6.Documentation of technical process and code. 7.Follow department level, and division level directives, best practices, standards, and methodologies, as appropriate or requested.
